AD Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of AD, including the AD browser extension and supporting account, billing, and legal pages on toolandmore.com (together, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

1) Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services. If local law sets a higher minimum age, you must meet that requirement.

2) Accounts and access

• You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
• We may suspend or terminate access if we believe there is misuse or violation of these Terms.

3) Use of the Services

• You may use AD to generate message drafts and related writing assistance.
• Do not use the Services for illegal activity, harassment, hate, or explicit sexual content.
• You are responsible for the messages you send and how you use the outputs.
• We may log prompts, context snippets, outputs, and policy-risk signals to detect abuse, enforce these Terms, and investigate violations.

4) AI outputs

AD provides AI-generated suggestions that may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for your context. You are responsible for reviewing and editing all outputs before use. AD does not provide legal, medical, or professional advice.

5) Subscriptions and billing

• Paid plans are billed through Stripe.
• Plans renew automatically unless canceled.
• We may change pricing or plan limits with notice.
• Refunds are handled in accordance with Stripe policies and applicable law.

6) Access requirements

Extension usage requires a logged-in account with an active paid subscription. If your subscription is inactive, expired, canceled, or blocked for policy reasons, extension access may be limited or denied. Attempts to bypass subscription checks, usage limits, or security controls may result in suspension or termination.

7) Intellectual property

The Services, branding, software, and content are owned by AD or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services.

8) User content

You retain ownership of the content you submit. You grant AD a limited license to process your content to provide the Services. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to submit any content.

9) Privacy

Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

10) Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. AD DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

11) Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AD WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. AD'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO AD IN THE 3 MONTHS PRIOR TO THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

12) Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold AD harmless from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.

13) Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Services at any time for any reason, including violations of these Terms. You may stop using the Services at any time.

14) Monitoring and enforcement

To maintain safety and platform integrity, we may review automated policy flags and supporting logs tied to account identifiers (such as email and user ID). We may warn, limit, suspend, or terminate accounts involved in prohibited conduct.

15) Changes to the Services and Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms and revise the effective date. Continued use of the Services means you accept the updated Terms.

16) Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of your jurisdiction of residence unless required otherwise by applicable law.
