This Privacy Policy explains how AD ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the AD browser extension and supporting account, billing, and legal pages on toolandmore.com (together, the "Services").
1) What we collect
Account and billing data
- Account identifiers (email, user ID) when you sign in.
- Subscription status and plan metadata for billing.
- We do not store full payment card details; payments are processed by Stripe.
Extension request data
- The extension reads visible thread context only when you click Generate or Reply.
- Before context is sent, the extension redacts obvious identifiers (for example email addresses, phone numbers, links, social handles, obvious addresses, and long numeric sequences).
- We process and may store your prompt text, selected tone, redacted context snippets, generated output, and policy/safety flags.
- Server-side logs may include account ID, email, origin, timestamp, IP address, and user-agent to operate the service, enforce limits, and investigate abuse.
Usage and device data
- Authentication/session metadata needed to keep your account connected between the website and extension.
- Usage and rate-limit records used for reliability, abuse prevention, and billing enforcement.
2) How we use information
- Provide and improve the Services.
- Generate message drafts based on your prompts and context.
- Enforce usage limits and subscription rules.
- Support, troubleshooting, and security.
3) AI processing and redaction
When you request a draft, we send the prompt and relevant context to our AI provider. For the extension, we redact obvious personal identifiers before sending context, including emails, phone numbers, links, social handles, addresses, and long numeric sequences. You should still avoid sending sensitive or confidential information.
4) Data retention
- Request logs and safety records may be retained for service operation, abuse prevention, support, and legal compliance.
- Billing and payment-related records are retained as required by law, accounting obligations, and payment processor requirements.
- You can request deletion of your account data by contacting us. We may retain certain records where legally required or needed for fraud/security handling.
5) Sharing and disclosures
- AI provider (to generate responses).
- Firebase (authentication, database, and hosting).
- Stripe (payments and subscription management).
- We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
6) Your choices and rights
- You can request account deletion and data-access support by contacting us.
- You can stop using the extension at any time by uninstalling it.
- You can opt out of marketing emails using unsubscribe links where provided.
7) Security
We use HTTPS for data in transit and restrict backend/database access to authorized service accounts and systems. No system is 100% secure. Please avoid sharing highly sensitive or confidential information in prompts.
8) Age requirement
The Services are intended for users age 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under 18. If you believe an underage person has provided personal data, contact us and we will review and remove the data where applicable.
9) International users
We may process data in the United States and other jurisdictions where our providers operate. By using the Services, you consent to such processing.
10) Updates to this policy
