AD by Toolandmore Terms of Service

Effective date: April 1, 2026

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of AD by Toolandmore, including the AD browser extension, the AD website and pricing pages, authenticated billing and privacy workflows, and related support/legal pages on toolandmore.com (together, the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

1) Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services. If a higher minimum age applies in your jurisdiction, you must satisfy that requirement. By using AD, you represent that you are legally able to enter into these Terms.

2) Your account and sign-in credentials

3) What AD is and is not

4) Your responsibility for outputs

You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and deciding whether to send any output. AI outputs may be inaccurate, contextually wrong, incomplete, or unsuitable for your situation. You remain responsible for the final message you send and any consequences that follow. You should not use AD for highly sensitive, confidential, regulated, or mission-critical communications unless you are comfortable with the residual risks of AI processing and local-device storage.

5) Third-party platforms and permissions

6) Acceptable use

You may use AD for lawful, legitimate drafting assistance. You may not use the Services to:

7) Accounts, access tiers, and plan gating

8) Billing, renewal, and refunds

9) User content and rights

You retain rights in content you submit, subject to the rights of any third parties whose material appears in that content. You grant Toolandmore a limited license to process submitted content as needed to provide the Services, run safety checks, prevent abuse, and support billing, legal, and support workflows. You represent that you have the right to submit the content you provide. Where AD uses encrypted local-only memory, that device-side memory remains part of the product workflow and may be deleted if you clear extension storage, remove the extension, or use in-product memory-clear controls.

10) Privacy and data rights

Your use of AD is also governed by our Privacy Notice. Data-rights requests, deletion, and related support workflows are subject to verification, technical constraints, legal exceptions, and processor/payment-provider requirements.

11) Monitoring, abuse controls, and enforcement

To protect the platform, Toolandmore may apply automated and manual review to non-content operational metadata, safety signals, billing status, and abuse indicators. We may warn, throttle, verify, suspend, cancel, block, or permanently terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create unacceptable legal, security, or abuse risk.

12) Suspension or termination

13) Intellectual property

The Services, code, branding, UI, and product materials are owned by Toolandmore or its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Services for their intended purpose under these Terms.

14) Feedback

If you send feedback, bug reports, ideas, or suggestions, you grant Toolandmore a worldwide, royalty-free license to use that feedback to operate, improve, market, or develop the Services without compensation to you.

15) Service availability and changes

We may change, pause, limit, or discontinue features, integrations, supported platforms, pricing, security controls, and model providers at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or compatibility with every browser, site layout, operating system, or third-party platform.

16) Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TOOLANDMORE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND THAT OUTPUTS WILL BE ACCURATE, USEFUL, OR ERROR-FREE.

17) Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TOOLANDMORE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, GOODWILL, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO TOOLANDMORE FOR AD IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

18) Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Toolandmore harmless from claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your content, your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of another person's rights or applicable law.

19) Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will publish the revised Terms and update the effective date. Continued use after the updated Terms take effect means you accept them.

20) Governing law

To the extent permitted by law, these Terms are governed by the laws applicable in Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your place of residence applies and cannot be waived.

21) Export controls and sanctioned-use restrictions

You may not use the Services where prohibited by applicable sanctions, export-control laws, trade restrictions, or other legal prohibitions. We may refuse or discontinue service where doing so is necessary to comply with law or platform/provider restrictions.

22) Survival

Sections relating to billing, refunds, privacy, intellectual property, feedback, acceptable use, suspension/termination, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law, and any provisions that by nature should survive will remain in effect after termination of your access.

23) Severability and no waiver

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the fullest extent permitted by law. A failure by Toolandmore to enforce a provision is not a waiver of the right to enforce it later.

24) Entire agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Notice, Refund Policy, and any in-product plan/billing disclosures that apply to your purchase, form the entire agreement between you and Toolandmore regarding the Services, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
