Formulas used

Add tax (base → total)

Tax amount = base × (rate / 100)
Total = base + tax

Remove tax (total → base)

Base = total ÷ (1 + rate / 100)
Tax amount = total – base

This is a generic percentage-based calculator.
It does not handle country-specific rules like multiple slabs per item.
